Last month, my friend Jill spent the night with the guy she was seeing, Kyle. There was only problem: His parents were extremely strict and she wasn’t actually allowed to be there.
They were planning on beating the system by waking up at 7AM, before his parents woke up. Naturally, they overslept.
At 9:30AM, Jill called our friend Marissa.
“Mariss, you have to come get me,” she frantically whispered. I’m hiding out in Kyle’s basement until his parents go out to breakfast.”
After sitting outside Kyle’s house for a half hour, Marissa called Jill back.
“What the hell are you doing in there? I’m sitting here like an idiot in my bathing suit and shorts.”
“I’m waiting for them to go out to breakfast! He said they should have left by now! I’m trapped here!”
“Listen, I don’t know how to break this to you but I’m looking at his father read a newspaper through their front window. That man’s not goin’ anywhere for awhile, chick.”
Devastated, Jill cried to Kyle. She was starving and wanted to leave. He started sneaking her down food and water, like she was a criminal. After an hour and half, Jill was able to escape when his parents finally went out.
Have you ever been trapped in someone’s house because of their overprotective parents?
